From a young age, Cari has always been involved in many sports and has been playing competitive golf since the age of eleven.
Cari competed in provincial and national competitions in Canada as well as events throughout the United States. This would inevitably prepare her for a varsity career with the University of Victoria Vikes. She played on a scholarship with the Vikes for 4 years in the NAIA women’s division, and in the summer of 2016 graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Cari has 4 years of education training and hopes to finish her education degree in the future.
During the end of Cari’s last semester of university, she achieved her goal of becoming a PGA golf professional. In turn, she joined Ardmore Golf Course as an Academy Instructor. Less than a year later, Cari became the Assistant Professional at Ardmore Golf Course and had the opportunity to run both women and junior events, group lessons, fundraisers and also took on the role of events coordinator to run company events.
Cari enjoys working hard, and she looks forward to continuing the growth of Squamish Valley Golf Club and helping as many people as she can.
