PGA of Canada Class A Head Professional

Scott fostered his fondness for golf while growing up in Sydney, Australia. Past careers in insurance, risk management/consulting and massage therapy held nothing on the enjoyment he found when embarking on his employment in the golf industry.

Scott moved to Canada in 2007 and started working with Squamish Valley Golf Club in the summer of 2008. He worked firstly as an assistant in the Pro Shop and then turned professional in 2010. He worked as Assistant Professional until 2017 when he took over the Head Professional role. Six months later, in July 2017 he was appointed to the role of General Manager.

Scott holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations and a Masters Degree in Commerce, both from the University of NSW in Sydney, Australia.

The demands of the General Manager role, as well as those of having a young family, don’t enable Scott to offer as much instruction as he once did. But if requested, especially by Squamish Valley Golf Club members, he will happily  get out of the office for some range or ‘on course’ instruction time (in sunny weather only 😉)
